Mary Ann Tracy

Mary Ann Tracy, 82, of Robinson, IL died at 3:30 p.m. on September 5, 2014 at Timber Creek Village in Robinson. She was born June 7, 1932 in Robinson, the daughter of Paul Swaner & Bessie Stevens Swaner. She worked in the Marathon office for 30 years before retirement. After retiring, she became a Longaberger consultant, which she enjoyed doing for some time. She was a member of the Otterbein United Methodist Church, the Crawford Memorial Hospital Auxiliary, the American Legion Women’s Auxiliary, and the Crawford County Republican Women. She married LaVerne Tracy on May 1, 1970, and he preceded her in death on October 8, 2003. She was also preceded in death by her parents; her brother, Charles Swaner; and her sister, Betty in infancy. She is survived by her son & daughter-in-law, Jim & Gail Dart (Geneva, IL); her daughter & son-in-law, Cheryl & Jim Jobe (Robinson, IL); her step-daughter, Deb & Dennis Zehner (Lawrenceville, IL); her grandchildren, Laura Dart (Portland, OR), Jill & Andrew Fortson (Warrenville, IL), Chris & Kara Jobe (Robinson, IL), Cory Jobe (Springfield, IL); her step-grandchildren, Tracy & Andy Corn, Mindy & John Borden; her great-grandchildren, Kyndal Jobe, Kennedy Borden, Mallory Borden, and Mayson Corn; her brother & sister-in-law, Bill & Donna Swaner (Robinson, IL); her sister & brother-in-law, Frances & Ed Byers (O’Fallon, MO); as well as several nieces & nephews. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, September 10th at the Goodwine Funeral Home in Robinson, with Rev Bessie Adams to officiate the service. Burial will follow in the Robinson New Cemetery. A time of visitation will be held from 4:00-7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 9th at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the Robinson Food Pantry or to the NOW Program for Robinson Schools, with envelopes available at the funeral home.
