Mary Raelene Wise Mckee

Mary “Rae” McKee, 80 of Marietta, GA, died Thursday, March 24, 2016 at Tranquility House in Marietta. She was born June 27, 1935, in Lawrenceville, the daughter of Ray and Helen Meskimen Wise. She was a customer service manager for Eastern Airlines in Marietta, GA. Rae married Richard Samuel McKee and he preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Diana Whipkey Young and Mike Young of Kennesaw, GA; her son Robert Whipkey, II, of Marietta, GA; 3 grandchildren, Ryan Young, Brendan Young and William Whipkey. Graveside services will be 1:00 p.m., Saturday, April 2, 2016 at Oak Grove Cemetery, rural Palestine. Goodwine Funeral Home in Robinson is in charge of the arrangements. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society with envelopes available at the funeral home.
