Mary Warren, 83, of Robinson, IL, died at 11:45 a.m. on Monday, July 25, 2016 at Heritage Health in Robinson. She was born January 27, 1933 in Perth Amboy, NJ, the daughter of Anthony Torchio & Rose (Donato) Torchio, both of whom preceded her in death. She married John “Jack” Warren on June 11, 1955, and he preceded her in death on November 23, 1987. She was also preceded in death by her brothers, Joe Torchio and Nicky Torchio; and her sister, Rose Cerami. She is survived by her children & their spouses, Debbie & Doug Rose, Toni & Greg Butler, Donna Warren, Terry & Gary Inboden, and John & Kindra Warren; by fourteen grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; as well as several nieces and nephews. Mary was a very creative soul. She enjoyed painting and crafting and also spent much of her time in her garden. She worked at Flo’s Restaurant for a time, and went on to work as a sales associate at Wal-Mart for nearly 10 years before retiring in May 2012. She was a member of the Beta Sigma Phi sorority and of the Saint Elizabeth Catholic Church. A time of visitation will be held from 5:00-7:00 p.m. on Friday, July 29th and from 9:00-10:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 30th at the Goodwine Funeral Home in Robinson. A funeral mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday at the Saint Elizabeth Catholic Church in Robinson, with Father James Flach officiating the service. Burial will follow in the Robinson New Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Saint Elizabeth Catholic Church, with envelopes available at the funeral home and church.
