Maxine Harrison

Maxine L. Harrison, 92 of Marshall, IL, formerly of Robinson, IL died at 5:40 a.m. on Saturday, December 21, 2013 in Marshall, IL. She was born September 10, 1921 in Oblong, IL, the daughter of John L. Elkins and Mary Surbana Moomau Elkins. Maxine worked in production at the Crawford Electronics for several years and loved to take care of her home in her free time. She was a member of the Robinson American Legion Post #69 Auxiliary, Crawford Memorial Hospital Auxiliary, and the Otterbein United Methodist Church.Maxine is survived by her daughter, Kandi Sue Pinkstaff, Clearwater, FL; step-daughter and her husband, Jewel and Jack Cameron, Dublin, GA; her daughter-in-law, Karen Elkins, Kyle, TX; her grandchildren, William G. Elkins II, Kelly Rene Elkins, Christopher, Mathew, and Andrew Forenza, and Kevin Durden; her sister, Thelma Lowe, Robinson; as well as several nieces & nephews.She was preceded in death by her parents; her son, Bill in 2010; her sister, Irene Ryerson 2009; her brother John in 2011; and her sister, Bea in 2012 and sister Margaret Pleasant.Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 28th at the Goodwine Funeral Home in Robinson. Burial will be in the Oblong Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 9:00 until service time at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. Memorials may be made to the Otterbein United Methodist Church, with envelopes available at the funeral home.
