She was also preceded in death by her siblings, Sam Stevenson and Bruce Gardner. She married Gary Hilderbrand in 1974 and he survives. Nancy was a 1971 graduate of Oblong High School. She went on to work for Sievers in Palestine for many years before going to work for Marathon Tire in Robinson. Away from work, she could often be found sewing, crocheting, and quilting. She also enjoyed spending time on her computer, and entered countless online sweepstakes. She loved her family and her pets dearly. Family and friends alike will always remember Nancy as a positive, upbeat person who saw the best in everybody; a strong woman who fought until the very end.
