Nelson P. Teeters

Nelson P. Teeters, 77 of West Union, IL, died at 9:40 a.m. on Wednesday, January 23, 2019 at Union Hospital Hospice Center in Terre Haute, IN. He was born on July 18, 1941 in Marion County, IN, the son of Ethan Teeters & Myrtle Teeters, both of whom preceded him in death. He married Donna Davis on March 16, 1994, and she survives. He is also survived by his children, Nancy Ramsey (Noblesville, IN) and Nelson P. Teeters Jr. (West Union, IL); by his grandchildren, Jenna (Ramsey) Daum (Pocahontas, IL) and Holly Ramsey (Noblesville, IN); by his sister, Mary Jane Eichacker-Kaufman (Indianapolis, IN); and by his two favorite companions, Frankie and Duke. As per his request, Nelson wished to be cremated with no services, but to have a get-together on the Wabash River in the spring. The Prust-Hosch Funeral Home in West Union is in charge of arrangements.
