Nolan Rinker

On September 5th, 2017, after 1,449 adorable days, Nolan Rinker passed away peacefully in his mother’s arms. Nolan was a 3 year-old preschool student at Washington Elementary School in Robinson, IL. He was preceded in death by his maternal great-grandparents, James & Blanche Cook and Glenn Faw. Nolan has left behind a loving family, including his father, Justin Rinker; mother Melody Rinker; two brothers, Karson and Landon; as well as a new baby sister, Isabella; all residing in Robinson, IL. Kentucky family members include his great-grandmother, Frances Faw; his grandparents, Larry & Karen Cook; his Uncle Kevin, Aunt Auburn, and cousins Gavin, Winston, and Gracyn Cook. West Virginia relatives include grandparents Steve & Dee Dee Rinker; great-grandparents Charles & Sudie Rinker, great-grandparents Gary & Kaye Strawn; his Uncle Eric and Aunt Brittney Wright. His Ohio relatives are Uncle Jared, Aunt Crystal, and cousins Jordan, Karter, and Spencer Rinker; as well as many friends and fans at Marathon. In addition to immediate family members, there are a host of extended family members that will also mourn his passing. Nolan’s days on Earth were too few, but he was loved by so many. Thank you to all who loved, prayed for, and cherished him. A time of visitation will be held from 9:00-11:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 9th at the Goodwine Funeral Home in Robinson. A celebration of Nolan’s life will follow and will be held at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Shane Bopp officiating the service. In lieu of flowers, the family is encouraging a monetary donation to The Parker Lee Project or Ronald McDonald House, with envelopes available at the funeral home.
