Norma L. Thompson

Norma L. Thompson, 78 of Robinson, IL, died at 10:40 a.m. Friday, May 18, 2012 at the Casey Health Care Center, Casey, IL. She was born September 13, 1933 in New Harmony, IN, the daughter of Glenn Wilsey and Edna Happel Wilsey. She was a clerk at the Robinson Wal-Mart.Norma married Richard O. Thompson on December 4, 1952 and he preceded her in death on February 12, 2010. She was also preceded in death by her parents; and her daughter-in-law, Gretchen Thompson.She is survived by her son, Richard G. €œRick€ Thompson, Macon; 5 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; and 1 great-great grandchild.Graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, May 25, 2012 at the Jones Cemetery, rural Flat Rock with Pastor Jeff Monroney officiating. The Goodwine Funeral Home, Robinson is in charge of arrangements.
