Olin L. Christine, 92, of Robinson, passed away June 24th, 2014 at 5:25am at the Heritage Health Nursing Home in Robinson. He was born on February 28th, 1922, the son of Orla and Bessie (Richardson) Christine. He graduated from Robinson High School in the class of 1940. He served in the Army in the Philippines during WWII, and remained active as a member of the VFW and American Legion. He was employed by the Mahutska Oil Co, and then the Marathon Oil Co. where he worked for 25 years before his retirement. He also found time to be an active farmer. He was a member of the Bible Chapel Church for several years. He married Floy Miller on March 15th, 1942 and she preceded him in death on July 12th, 2004. He was also preceded in death by his parents, his brother Lawrence Christine, and his son Stanley Christine. He is survived by his daughter, Donna Christine of Robinson, his grandson Monty Christine of Robinson, granddaughter–in-law Bobbi Christine of Robinson, great-grandson Camron Christine of Robinson, and great-granddaughter Nikomi Christine of Robinson, as well as several nieces and nephews, family friend Ethel Tuel of Hutsonville, and his special friend Ruth Reynolds of Robinson. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00am on Friday, June 27th at the Goodwine Funeral Home. Burial will follow at the Kirk Cemetery in Robinson with Military Honors performed by the Robinson VFW post #4549. There will be a time of visitation preceding the service from 9:00am-11:00am. Memorial contributions may be made to the Bible Chapel Church; envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
