Onnie E. Walters

Onnie E. Walters died in the early morning on June 17, 2015, at Heritage Health, Robinson, Illinois. She was born on December 30, 1922, in Hanson, Kentucky to Virgil and Ila Bowles. She moved to Evansville, Indiana, in 1948, and worked for the Swift Company. In 1961 she moved to Robinson, Illinois, where she worked for Victor-Dana Corporation until she retired. She was preceded, in death, by her parents, Virgil & Ila Bowles; her brother, Jesse; and sisters, Katherine and Leota. Onnie is survived by her son, John Randall Harrison (St. Louis, MO); her daughter, Susie Welsh (Robinson, IL); their spouses Sharon Harrison and William Welsh; granddaughter, Jane Harrison (Istanbul, Turkey); grandsons, Joel Harrison (St. Louis, MO) and Braden Welsh (Champaign, IL); sister, Lula Vickers (Evansville, IN); numerous nieces and nephews and many friends. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Robinson. Private graveside services for family and friends will be held, at a later date, in Hanson, Kentucky. The Goodwine Funeral Home in Robinson is in charge of arrangements
