Pamela Montgomery

Pamela Montgomery, 64, of Lawrenceville, IL, died at 5:46 a.m. on Wednesday, May 27, 2015 at the Lawrence County Memorial Hospital. She was born September 5, 1950 in Lawrenceville, the daughter of Harry 'Brick' Montgomery & Velma Johnson Montgomery. She is survived by her son, Chris Montgomery (Lawrenceville, IL); her sister, Yvonne Brandebourg (Flat Rock, IL); two nieces; as well as four great-nieces & one great-nephew. She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother Alan Montgomery in infancy. Pam worked for Victor Dana from 1969 until 2013. In her free time, she loved playing computer games and also spent many a Friday night eating at the V.F.W. She will be remembered for her love of Bingo, which she played several times a week. A time of visitation will be held from 5:00-7:00 p.m. on Sunday, May 31st at the Goodwine Funeral Home in Flat Rock. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, June 1st at the Jones Cemetery in rural Flat Rock. Memorials may be made to the Pamela Montgomery Memorial Fund, with checks made payable to 'Goodwine Funeral Homes'.
