Patricia Ann (Ferguson) Landgren, 73, passed away peacefully in her sleep on November 29, 2015 in Barrington, Illinois, following a lengthy and courageous battle with cancer. Originally from Palestine, Illinois, Patty lived in several states throughout her life, with the northwest suburbs of Chicago and Glendale, Arizona being the longest and most recent. She is preceded in death by her parents, Eugene G. Ferguson and Ruby Ferguson of Palestine, Illinois and dearest YaYa sister, Judy Palanca of Crete, Illinois. Patty will be sadly missed by her sister and brother-in-law, Sharon and Robert Waldrop of Amery, Wisconsin, daughters Kelly Doughty of Port Perry, Ontario and Kristy Jewell of Bensenville, Illinois and grandchildren, Shawnie (Steve) Godke of Bloomingdale, Illinois, Kendall Stoiner of Edmonton, Alberta, USAF SSgt Randall Stoiner and Alexandra Ruby Doughty of Port Perry, Ontario. Dearly loved by nieces, nephews, cousins and a multitude of life-long friends, she loved you and she knew you loved her too. There will be a graveside service held at 11:00 a.m. at the Oak Grove Cemetery, in Palestine, Illinois on May 8th (Mother’s Day), 2016, where her ashes will be buried alongside her parents. The family extends sincere gratitude for the compassionate care provided by Dr. Demetrio Mamani and Dr. Rajat Malhotra and Journeycare Hospice.
