Patricia "Pat" Hawkins

Patricia “Pat” K. Hawkins, 75, of Robinson, formerly of Hutsonville died at 7:05 a.m. (EST) on Wednesday, December 31, 2014 at the St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis, IN. She was born December 23, 1939 in Casey, IL, the daughter of George Demarois & Jenell Hawk. She was a graduate of the Robinson High School Class of 1957. Pat was a registered nurse who touched many lives through her work at Crawford Memorial Hospital in Robinson, Union Hospital in Terre Haute, St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis, and in nursing homes all around the area. For many years, she enjoyed the art of jewelry making, as well as gardening with her husband. Pat married Robert G. Hawkins on March 11, 1959, and he preceded her in death on December 6, 2011. She was also preceded in death by her parents and three brothers, Larry Demarois, Bill Demarois, and Bobby Demarois. She is survived by her children & their spouses, Cynthia & Jim Zellers (Robinson, IL), Rob & Becky Hawkins (Jerseyville, IL), Nikki & Randy Fancil (Oblong, IL); 7 grandchildren, Meggan Zellers & fianc J.D. Goff (Robinson, IL), Morgan Zellers (Robinson, IL), Logan Hawkins (Oblong, IL), Zack Tuttle (Annapolis, IL), Josh Tuttle (Indianapolis, IN), Ethan Fancil (Oblong, IL) and Carson Fancil (Oblong, IL); her sister & brother-in-law, Debbie & Bob Klemm; as well as several nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, January 11, 2015 at the Goodwine Funeral Home in Robinson. A time of visitation will be held from 3:00 p.m. until service time at 4:00 p.m. on Sunday. To honor Pat and her life’s work in caring for others, memorials may be made to the St. Jude Hospital for Children, with envelopes available at the funeral home.
