Patricia "Trish" Napier

Patricia "Trish" Napier, 60, passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 25, 2026, at Gibson Family Center for Hospice Care in Terre Haute, IN.

Born on December 29, 1965, in Robinson, IL, Trish was the daughter of John & Sharon (Mehler) Halterman. She grew up in West York, where she learned the value of hard work while helping her family on their dairy farm. Those early years shaped the determined, capable, and caring woman she would become. She graduated from Hutsonville High School with the Class of 1984 and spent her life in Crawford County, the place she always called home.

Throughout her life, Trish worked in a variety of occupations, including time as a CNA, in the food service industry, and at Fisher Auto Parts. No matter the job, she was known for working hard and doing what needed to be done.

Away from work, Trish truly came alive outdoors. Whether she was hunting, fishing, or simply spending time in nature, she was happiest under the open sky. Deer season was something she eagerly anticipated each year, and those who hunted with her knew she had a knack for finding success early. She also spent countless hours fishing, enjoying the peace of the water and the company of those beside her.

Trish had a heart that seemed to grow bigger with every stray animal she came across. Horses, goats, cats-it didn't matter. If an animal needed a home, she wanted to give it one. Her love for animals was matched only by her love of cooking. Family and friends will long remember the meals she prepared. A Pepsi was never far from her side, and neither was her sense of adventure. From sunrise until sunset, she was always ready to be outside, having fun, and making memories.

More than anything, Trish will be remembered for the way she treated people. She was unbelievably kind, fiercely loyal to those she loved, and never hesitated to stand up for someone who needed a voice. She was the kind of friend everyone hoped to have-steadfast, genuine, and always willing to help. Her loyalty, compassion, and generous spirit left a lasting mark on everyone fortunate enough to know her.

She is survived by her children, Kris Perisho, Kashtyn & Jerod Robinson, Keith & Jennifer Perisho, Kyle & Christy Perisho, and Myranda Napier; her grandchildren, Kaiden Simons, Trinity Simons, Leo Perisho, Gwen Perisho, Reygan Perisho, Whitley Perisho, and Kypher Napier; her brothers, David Halterman and Michael and Wendy Halterman; as well as several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents.

It was Trish's wish to be cremated, and the Goodwine Funeral Home in Robinson is assisting the family at this time.
