Paul James Baud, 73, of Robinson, IL, died at 9:25 p.m. Friday, February 3, 2012 at the Illiana Health Care Systems, Danville, IL. He was born April 26, 1938 in Honey Creek Township, the son of Albert Baud and Dorothy Crum Baud. Paul served in the U. S. Army from 1956 to 1960. He worked construction at the Marathon Refinery and was a member of the Palestine Eagles Lodge, Robinson V. F. W. Post #4549, AmVets Post #33, and Robinson American Legion Post #69.Paul is survived by his significant other, Marie Elizabeth Freeman-Cooper; his children and their spouses, Rick and Ramona Baud, TN, Tom Baud, Marshall, Debbie and John Lockston, AK, Dana and Donnie Yager, Oblong, Scott and Celeste Baud, Oblong, Todd and Sandy Cooper, Robinson, Travis Cooper, Robinson, Anthony and Amanda Cooper, Palestine; 17 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; 3 brothers and sisters-in-law, Ray and Treva Baud, Charles and Betsy Baud, Larry and Sandy Baud, all of Robinson; and several nieces and nephews.He was preceded in death by his parents; and his sister, June Zellers.There will be cremation with no services. Memorials may be made to the Paul Baud Memorial Fund with checks made payable to Marie Cooper. Memorials may be mailed to the Goodwine Funeral Home, 303 E. Main, Robinson, IL 62454.
