Phillip Wayne Tuttle, 69, of Robinson, IL died at 1:16 p.m. on Monday, April 21, 2014 in the comfort of his home. He was born September 6, 1944 in Robinson, the son of Robert Carl Tuttle & Vera Pearl Montgomery. He served his country in the U.S. Army from 1963-1966. He spent thirty years in mail service, 25 of which was spent as Postmaster in Robertsville, MO. He retired to St. Cloud, FL for 6 years. In Robinson, he was a member of the Robinwood Assembly of God Church, where he served as a deacon/superintendant. He married Ruth E. Carter on October 21, 1966, and she survives. He is also survived by his two sons, Terry Wayne Tuttle (Robinson, IL), Timothy Scott & Connie Tuttle (Pacific, MO); six grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; as well as his sister-in-law, Judy Tuttle and niece Lisa Tuttle (Avon, IN). He was preceded in death by his parents and a son, Larry Dean Tuttle. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 23rd at the Goodwine Funeral Home in Robinson, with Pastors Danny Anderson & Jim Parks officiating. Burial will follow in the Robinson New Cemetery. A time of visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. until service time at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Memorials may be made to Lincolnland Hospice, with envelopes available at the funeral home.
