Rae Jean Nash

Rae Jean Nash, 77 of Palestine, IL, died at the Magnolia Center of Crawford Memorial Hospital, Robinson, IL at 8:35 a.m. Thursday, April 24, 2014. She was born June 14, 1936 in Palestine, the daughter of Harvey J. McNair and Helen M. McNair. Rae Jean was a “Customer Service Representative” for 26 years for the cable company industry. She also worked in Palestine for Skelgas Co. and for the school system. She belonged to the Ladies of the Moose, the Ladies Auxillary of the LaMotte Township Fire Department, and a member of the Crawford County Civil Defense. She married Joe Nash July 29, 1955 and he survives. She is also survived by her Mother, Helen McNair, and several cousins. She was preceded in death by her father. Graveside funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, April 26th at the Palestine Cemetery. Pastor Tim Watson is in charge of services. Goodwine Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
