Ralph Edward Moore

Ralph Edward Moore, 62 of rural Flat Rock, IL, died at 7:43 p.m. Thursday, November 4, 2010 at his residence. He was born June 15, 1948 in Robinson, IL, the son of Gussie Moore and Mildred Powden Moore. He worked construction with Labor Local #1197 of McLeansboro, IL. He served in the U. S. Army as a Military Policeman in Vietnam and had attended the Flat Rock Missionary Baptist Church.Ralph is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Sharon Kendall, Terre Haute, IN and Timothy Duffield, Hardinville; his sister and brother-in-law, Linda and Robert Jared, Skiatook, OK; 3 nieces; 1 nephew; and several cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Debbie Bishop.Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, November 8th at the Goodwine Funeral Home, Robinson. Visitation will be Monday from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Military honors will be presented at the funeral home following the funeral service by the combined units of the Robinson V. F. W. Post #4549, the Robinson American Legion Post #69, the Amvets Post #33, and the Flat Rock American Legion Post #132. Memorials may be made to either the Light House Mission, or to the St. Jude€™s Children€™s Hospital with envelopes available at the funeral home.
