Randy Dean Rich

Randy Dean Rich, 52, of Robinson, IL, died at 8:12 p.m. Wednesday, March 21, 2012 at the Crawford Memorial Hospital, Robinson. He was born August 25, 1959 in Vincennes, IN, the son of Mervin Rich and Helen Parker Rich. He was a distinguished alumnus of LTC. He was an accountant and owned Rich Accountants. Randy served several terms as City Alderman. He also loved sports. A co-captain of the 1976 RHS Basketball team that made it to the Sweet 16, he also loved to coach youth sports. He was also an active member of the Highland Avenue Baptist Church, where he served as a worship leader. Randy married Jennie Grabbe on August 8, 2005 and she survives. He is also survived by his 2 sons, Ryerson & Abbey Rich (Indianapolis, IN) and Roston Rich (Robinson); his daughter, Ra€™Kel & Colt Duke (Robinson); one grandson, Easton Rich, and expecting a granddaughter in April; his mother, Helen Rich, Robinson; and his sister and brother-in-law, Susan and Tony Droste (Robinson);; his step-children, Cade Walker and Stevee Walker (Robinson); three step-sons, Michael Nash (Marshall), Adam Livvix (Marshall), and Tyler Livvix (Marshall).He was preceded in death by his father, Mervin Rich.Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 24th at the Highland Avenue Baptist Church in Robinson, with Dwight McDaniel officiating. Burial will be in Jones Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 4:00-8:00 p.m. on Friday, March 23rd at the church. Memorials may be made to the Oblong Christian Children€™s Home, with envelopes available at the church.
