RAYMOND LEE NORTONRaymond Lee Norton 75 of the Crawford County Convalescent Center in Robinson, died at 3:02 p.m. Monday, December 2, 2013 after an extended illness. He was born July 8, 1938 in Palestine, the son of Emery Norton and Alice Fox Norton. He was a retired farm laborer. He was a member of the Palestine Eagles Lodge.He is survived by his brother and sister-in-law, Ronney and Anita Norton, DuQuoin, IL; his sister, Rowena Norton, Robinson; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, 3 brothers, his twin, Roy Norton and brothers, Richard and Charles.Graveside services will be held at the Oak Grove Cemetery, rural Palestine on Tuesday, December 10th. The Goodwine Funeral Home in Palestine is in charge of services. The family asks that memorials be made to the American Diabetes Association with envelopes available at the funeral home or at the cemetery.
