Rex Wayne Peterson, 45, of Vincennes, IN, died at 9:48 p.m. (E.S.T.) Thursday, January 8, 2009 at Good Samaritan Hospital, Vincennes. He was born January 21, 1963 in Robinson, IL the son of Wayne Peterson and Carol Reynolds Peterson Clark. He was a truck driver for several years.He is survived by his father and step-mother, Wayne & Beverly Peterson; his mother, Carol Clark all of Robinson; his close friend, Debra Halter, Vincennes, IN; 5 sons, Josh Peterson, Olney, Joseph Peterson, Hardinville, Skylar Peterson, Terre Haute, IN, Blake Peterson, Terre Haute, IN, and Cody Peterson, Vincennes, IN; 3 daughters, Meranda Shipman, Hardinville, Nickie Peterson, Hardinville, and Cami Peterson, Vincennes, IN; 5 grandchildren; 2 brothers and his sister-in-law, Ronnie and Nancee Peterson, Mt. Carmel, and Shawn Peterson, Robinson; his sister and brother-in-law, Angela and Marshall Benton, Robinson; and several nieces and nephews.He was preceded in death by his daughter, Cora Peterson; his step-father, Philip Clark; and his brother, Todd Peterson.There will be cremation with a visitation from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Monday, January 12th at the Goodwine Funeral Home, Robinson.
