Rheta Ann Waldrop

Rheta Ann Waldrop, 71, of Robinson, died at 11:29 p.m. (EST) on July 14, 2014 at Union Hospital in Terre Haute, IN. She was born December 9, 1942 in New Hebron, the daughter of Gale S. and Mae (Bayne) Reinoehl. She worked at LS Heath & Sons, Quail Creek Country Club, Oak Glen Golf Course, and Deer Run Golf Course. She was an active member of Crawford County Democratic Women. She volunteered at the Palestine Grade School Library and also volunteered as a Pink Lady at Crawford Memorial Hospital. She was a member of the First Christian Church in Robinson. She married Larry Don Waldrop on June 25th, 1960, and he survives in Robinson. She is also survived by her daughters; Traci Ackman and husband Bill of Robinson, and Tangi Waldrop of Robinson, two grandsons; Ben Ackman and wife Kirbie of Robinson, and Paul Ackman of Robinson, and one great-grandson Jaxon Ackman of Robinson. She is also survived by her brothers; Bill Reinoehl and wife Carol of Robinson, Chuck Reinoehl and wife Karen of Robinson, sister-in-law Nadine Reinoehl of Palestine, brother and sister-in-law Keith Waldrop and wife Martha of Oblong, and sister-in-law Shirley Garrison of Johnsonville, as well as several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, mother and father-in-law Herman and Ruby Waldrop, her sister Patsy Ramsey, brothers Jimmy, Bayne and Donnie Reinoehl and J.R. Best and wife Dixie, brother-in-law Dale Garrison, and nephew Gary Don Ramsey. Memorial services will be held Thursday, July 17th, 2014 at 6:00pm. There will be a time of visitation preceding the service from 4:00pm-6:00pm. Memorial contributions may be made to Shop with a Cop or Palestine Grade School Library.
