Ricky Ray "Rooster" Heleine

Ricky Ray 'Rooster' Heleine, Sr., 58, of West Union, IL died in the comfort of his home in his sleepon December 1, 2013. He was born November 7, 1955 in Terre Haute, IN, the son of John Raymond Heleine, Jr. & Eva Dale Cornwell Heleine. A member of Laborers Local Union No. 1280 since 1978, he worked construction for several years.He married Vickie Walls on August 26, 1985, and she survives. He is also survived by his daughters, Wendy Heleine Misner & husband Dustin Misner, Amanda Heleine Hays, Monica Heleine; his son, Cody Roo Heleine; eight grandchildren; his mother, Eva Dale Heleine; four brothers & sisters-in-law, Virgil & Julie Heleine, Terry & Debbie Heleine, Jerry & Dana Heleine, and Scott & Rhonda Heleine; his sister & brother-in-law, Vicky & Jim Smith; several nieces & nephews as well as several great-nieces & great-nephews.He was preceded in death by his father, John Raymond Heleine, Jr.; his brother, Jim Heleine; and two nephews, Joe & Matthew.Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, December 5th at the Prust-Hosch Funeral Home in West Union, with Burton Heleine to officiate the service. Burial will be held in the Old York Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. until service time at 11:00 on Thursday at the funeral home.
