He was preceded in death by his parents; by his brothers, O.D. Fuller, John Fuller, Mahlon Fuller, Ray Fuller, Dorin Fuller, and Troy Fuller; and by his sisters, Wilma Baud, Myrtle Johnson, Norma Guyer, and Neva Brashear. Bob grew up in the Palestine area, where he dedicated his life to working the fields as a farmer. He was decidedly “old school”, in that he worked hard without complaint. In fact, the man always had a smile on his face. When he wasn’t in the field, he sold Pioneer seed for over 25 years. He also busied himself with gardening and mowing yards. Even as he grew older, he never let dust settle. Anyone who knew him could attest to the fact that the man had a big heart. Not only did he know everybody, but he got along with everybody as well. Needless to say, relationships were vital to Bob and played a very important role in his life. Few things brought him more joy than simply conversing with neighbors, friends, or anyone who would take the time to talk to him. More than anything, however, Bob Fuller loved his family. He was a faithful husband, a proud father, and a doting grandfather and great-grandfather. They, along with his many friends will long remember Bob’s life as one of integrity, dedication, and perseverance. He was a life member of the Farm Bureau and a past and longtime member of the Palestine Lion’s Club. A time of visitation will be held 4:00-7:00 p.m. on Friday, March 30th at the Goodwine Funeral Home in Palestine.
