Robert €œBob€ Keith MorrisRobert €œBob€ Keith Morris, 88, of Robinson, passed away at 5:13 a.m. (EST), May 19, 2013 at Good Samaritan Hospital in Vincennes, Indiana. He was born on November 4, 1924, in Robinson, the son of Herbert and Osa (Anderson) Morris. Bob was a Master Sergeant in the Marine Corps during WWII. He worked as a retired city mechanic for the city of Robinson, and was also a Lifetime Member of the Robinson V.F.W. Post 4549, Palestine AmVets Post 33, and Robinson American Legion Post 69.He married Tham Le Thi Tham on November 12, 1973, and she survives. Also surviving are his daughters & sons-in-law, Susan L. & Randall Richey, Kent, WA; Christie L. & J.D. Rinard, Hustonville, IL; three sisters, Donna Lee Miles, Mattoon, IL; Barbara Galey, Hutsonville, IL; and June Doolittle, New Mexico; a half-brother, Rex Mitchell, Hutsonville, IL and five grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, his sister Eileen Knapp and an infant grandson. Memorial may be made to the Robinson VFW transportation fund or the Alzheimer€™s Association. Funeral services will be held on Friday, May 24, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at the Goodwine Funeral Home, Robinson, Illinois with Pastor Mike Delaney officiating. Burial will be in the Robinson New Cemetery. Visitation will be held before the service from 9-11 on Friday, May 24th. Military services will be conducted by the Palestine AmVets Post #33, Robinson V. F. W. Post #4549, Robinson American Legion Post #69, and Flat Rock American Legion Post #132.
