Robert Lee Littlejohn, Sr

Robert Lee Littlejohn, Sr., 68, of Annapolis, IL, died at 11:35 a.m. on Thursday, January 8, 2015 at the Carle Hospital in Urbana, IL. He was born on April 18, 1946 in Noble, IL, the son of Theodore Roosevelt Littlejohn & Cora Melton Littlejohn. Bob loved to work, and worked for Hershey Chocolate Company for 43 years. He also loved spending time outdoors. He married Janet Jacobs on August 17th, 1968. He is also survived by his children & their spouses, Robert & Brenda Littlejohn (Palestine, IL), Amy Pennington (Annapolis, IL), Phillip & Georgia Littlejohn (Annapolis, IL), Anthony Littlejohn (Pinckneyville, IL); 13 grand children, 7 great-grandchildren, sisters Bonnie Burtron and Vivian Draper of Robinson, sister-in-law Patty Jayne (Camargo), brother-in-law Gerold Jacobs (Oblong, IL) and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers Thomas Littlejohn and James Littlejohn, sisters Cora Berry and Margaret Littlejohn, his mother and father-in-law Herold and Martha Jacobs, sister-in-law Karen Jacobs, brother-in-law Leonard Jayne, grandson Michael Williams and great-grandson Christopher Todd Jr. Funeral service will be held at 11am on Wednesday, January 14th 2015 at the Goodwine Funeral Home in Robinson. Burial will follow at the Olive Branch Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 13th, from 5-7pm at the funeral home. Memorial Contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association, with envelopes available at the funeral home.
