Roger W. Hill, 50, of rural Hutsonville, IL, formerly of Palatine, IL, died of an apparent heart attack at 7:11 a.m. Sunday, January 11, 2009 at Crawford Memorial Hospital, Robinson. He was born March 31, 1958 in Phoenix , AZ , the son of Royce W. Hill and Jane Marie Mateja. He worked at Datamax Pioneer Labels as an IT Administrator for 12 years. He was a member of St. Elizabeth Catholic Church, Robinson.He married RoseMarie Covelli September 29, 1985 and she survives. He is also survived by his daughter, Krystle Rose Hill at home; his mother, Jane Marie Hill, Palatine; his father-in-law, Joseph Covelli, Grayslake; his brother and sister-in-law, Duane & Donna Hill, McHenry; 2 sisters and brothers-in-law, Pam and Thayer Davis, Palatine and Janet Hill, Cary; his brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Felicia and Greg Jayes, Bartlett; his uncle and his wife, Ronald and Susan Mateja, Dallas, GA; his aunt, Deloris Robinson, Ardmore, OK; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.He was preceded in death by his father, Royce W. Hill; and his maternal grandmother, Angeline Mateja.Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, January 14th at St. Elizabeth Catholic Church, Robinson with Rev. William Overmann officiating. Visitation will be held Tuesday, January 13th from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. with a prayer service at 6:30 p.m. at the Goodwine Funeral Home, Robinson. He will be taken to the Ahlgrim Funeral Home in Palatine, IL for visitation Thursday, January 15th from 3 to 9 p.m. and services will be held at 11:00 A.M. at Holy Family Church, Inverness, IL on Friday, January 16th. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society with envelopes available at the funeral home.
