Ronald D. Stout

Ronald Douglas Stout, 62, of Palestine, IL, died at 3:03 a.m. on Sunday, April 23, 2017 at Crawford Memorial Hospital in Robinson, IL. He married Susan Hare on April 21, 1990, and she survives. He is also survived by his daughter, Rachel Stout & her significant other, Daniel Watson (Evansville, IN). He went to Saint John’s Lutheran Grade School in Vincennes, IN and was a graduate of Lincoln High School. He went on to work for Fair-Rite before moving to Hershey, where he worked for many years in receiving. Away from work, he was an avid collector of sports memorabilia and liked to watch horse racing. Much of his free time was spent buying and selling on eBay. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, April 28th at the Palestine Cemetery. In honor of his love of animals, memorials may be made to the Crawford County Humane Society, with envelopes available at the cemetery. The Goodwine Funeral Home in Palestine is in charge of arrangements.
