Ronald Job, 73, of Robinson, IL, died at 6:50 p.m. (EST) on Wednesday, October 26, 2016 at the Good Samaritan Hospital in Vincennes, IN, surrounded by his family. He was born November 24, 1942 in Brazil, IN, the son of Reese Omer Job & Lena May (Akers) Job, both of whom preceded him in death. He is survived by his wife, Judith Ann (Barcus) Job. He is also survived by his daughter, Kelly & Adam Knicley (Newton, IL); by his aunt, Grace Cohn (Reelsville, IN); by his cousins, Barbara & Jimmy Proctor (Reelsville, IN), Tracy Britton (Reelsville, IN), Jon Britton (Reelsville, IN), and Kody & Kaleb Britton (Reelsville, IN); by his brothers-in-law & sisters-in-law, Dan & Diana Stuart (Fishers, IN) and Mike & Debbie Magenheimer (Evansville, IN); by his nephews & nieces-in-law, David & Amanda Stuart (Indianapolis, IN) and Ben & Tiffany Magenheimer (Evansville, IN); by his niece & nephew-in-law, Dana & Ben Woodfill (Fishers, IN); and by several great-nieces and great-nephews. Ron was a 1960 graduate of Reelsville High School. He went on to work as a salesman with Lone Star Industries until retiring in 2002. He was a charter member of the Reelsville/Washington Township Fire Department. He could often be found attending car and engine shows and also enjoyed collecting train memorabilia of all sorts. Ron will long be remembered as a people person who loved to interact with others. A time of visitation will be held from 5:00-7:00 p.m. (Central Time; 6:00-8:00 Eastern Time) on Monday, October 31st at the Goodwine Funeral Home in Robinson. Graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m. (Central Time; 2:00 Eastern Time) on Tuesday, November 1st at the Summit Lawn Cemetery in Brazil, IN. Memorial contributions may be made to the Reelsville/Washington Township Fire Department, with envelopes available at the funeral home and at the cemetery.
