Roscoe Paul Kincaid

Roscoe Paul Kincaid, 67, of Robinson, IL, died at 10:09 a.m. on Tuesday, January 20, 2015 at St Anthony’s Hospital Memorial Hospital in Effingham, IL. He was born October 3, 1947 in Palestine IL, the son of Graydon Kincaid, Jr & Patricia Ann Adams Kincaid. He graduated from the Illinois State University in 1973. Paul worked at Marathon as a Lab Tech. He was a member of the Outer West Market Church of Christ, and enjoyed coaching and playing cards. As anyone who knew him could attest, he was an avid fan of Chicago Cubs Baseball and Chicago Bears Football. Paul married Cynthia Hayden in 1984, and she survives. He is also survived by his children, Tammy Allen (Olney, IL), Troy & Geline Kincaid (Robinson, IL), Todd & Barb Kincaid (Robinson, IL), Heather Wilson (Robinson, IL); his parents, Graydon Kincaid, Jr. & Patricia Kincaid (Palestine, IL); and his brother & sister-in-law, Greg & Alison Kincaid (Palestine, IL); his grandchildren, April, Robby, and Aaron Palacios, R.J., Josh, Jeremy and Jessica Kincaid, Savannah Nelson and Ian Vickers; seven great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his son, Eric Scott Kincaid, his grandparents Roscoe and Helen Adams, grandparents Graydon Sr. and Sisal Kincaid, and father-in-law and mother-in-law Ivo Gene and Virginia Hayden. A memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 24th, 2015 at the Goodwine Funeral Home in Robinson with Pastor Tim Watson officiating. There will be a time of visitation from 1:00-3:00 on Saturday. Memorial contributions may be made to donor’s choice with envelopes available at the funeral home.
