Ruth June King

Ruth June King, 88 of Robinson, died at 10:33 p.m. Friday, February 25, 2011 at the Crawford County Convalescent Center in Robinson. She was born April 2, 1922 in Sikeston, MO. She was a housekeeper.Ruth married Sidney Melvin King on October 14, 1955 and he preceded her in death on March 17, 2003. She was also preceded in death by her parents; 1 son, 1 sister, and 3 brothers.She is survived by 3 daughters and her son-in-law, Becky Sidden, Bowen, IL, Bonnie and Mike Beatty, Jewett, IL, and Cindy King, Mattoon, IL; her grandchildren, Stephen Akers,Stephanie Akers, Cathy Jo Walker, Jessica King Edwards, Michael Brown; and several nieces and nephews.Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, March 4, 2011 at the Olive Branch Cemetery, rural Annapolis, IL. The Goodwine Funeral Home, Robinson is in charge of arrangements.
