Scott Reeter

Scott Reeter, 55, of Robinson, IL, died Sunday, August 13, 2017 at the Good Samaritan Hospital in Vincennes, IN. He was born on May 1, 1962 in Vandalia, IL, the son of Victor & Marcy (Mabry) Reeter, both of whom preceded him in death. He is survived by his daughter, Alexa Reeter; by his grandson, Cameron Forrester; by his siblings, Chuck & Pam Reeter, Mike & Lee Reeter, Amy & Craig Opfer; as well as several nieces and nephews. Having been born and raised in Vandalia, IL Scott was a 1980 graduate of Vandalia Community High School. Much of his time was spent gardening or listening to 80’s rock, and was especially fond of the band Rush. Anyone who knew him could tell you than Scott dearly loved his daughter and grandson, who have lost not only a father figure, but a friend as well. It was his family’s wish for Scott to be cremated with no public services. The Goodwine Funeral Home in Robinson is in charge of arrangements.
