Shannon Sue Reed

Shannon Sue Reed, 52, of Robinson, IL died on Friday, May 4, 2012 at the Carle Foundation Hospital in Champaign, IL. She was born on July 2, 1959 in Lawrenceville, IL, the daughter of Charles Edward Cummins & Ruby Byrley Cummins. Shannon was a nurse, and cared for the residents of the United Methodist Village in Lawrenceville.She is survived by her children, Chad Hammond (Lawrenceville) and Ashley Hammond (Robinson); her grandson, Gabriel Maldonado (Robinson); her sisters, Judith Townley (Robinson) and Rita Ruble (Robinson); her brother-in-law, Ed Ruble; her sister-in-law, Terri Cummings and her children Josh and Joseph; her nieces, Melissa Townley & Randy Miller, Rhonda & Mike Garrett, Mindy & Larry Lewis, and Teresa & Steven Clark; and her nephews, Steven & Susan Ruble, and Matthew Townley.Funeral services will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 8th at the Goodwine Funeral Home in Robinson. A visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. until service time at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Memorials may be made to the United Life Ambulance Service, with envelopes available at the funeral home.
