Sharon K. Halterman

Sharon K. Halterman, 65 of Palestine, IL died at her home Friday, January 7, 2011 after a brief illness. She was born December 13, 1945 in Robinson, the daughter of W. N. €œPat€ Mehler and Margaret I. Lawhead Mehler. She worked at Osterman Jewlery and the Apple House in Terre Haute, IN. She was a member of the West Union Christian Church.Sharon married John Halterman on September 5, 1965 and he survives. She is also survived by her father, Pat Mehler, Robinson; her daughter and son-in-law, Patricia and Randy Napier, Annapolis; 2 sons, David Halterman, Roodhouse, IL and Michael Halterman, Palestine; 7 grandchildren; 2 step-grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.She was preceded in death by her mother and a brother, Patrick Mehler in infancy.Funeral services will be held at the Goodwine Funeral Home in Palestine at 2 p.m. Wednesday. Pastor Billy Ray Ulrey is in charge of services. Burial is in the Bradbury Cemetery, rural West York. Visitation is from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the Ronald McDonald House at the Riley€™s Childrens€™ Hospital in Indianapolis, IN.
