Sherri Lee Lewis

Sherri Lee Lewis, 52, of Robinson, IL, died at 12:12 p.m. Tuesday, December 18, 2007 at her residence. She was born August 31, 1955 in Robinson, IL, the daughter of Elsie Turner. She worked as a medical technician in Dallas, TX. She was a member of the First Congregational Church, Porterville, coached Special Olympics and worked with the mentally handicapped.She married David Lewis in 1990 and he survives. She is also survived by her 3 daughters, Micki Hout and her friend, Tim Baron, Robinson, Amanda Lewis, West Union, and Brooke Garrard, Robinson; her son, Samuel Lewis, Robinson; 4 grandchildren; her sister and brother-in-law, Terri and Clifford Atteberry, Robinson; her aunt, Christine Turner, Robinson; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.She was preceded in death by her mother.Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, December 22, 2007 at the Goodwine Funeral Home, Robinson with Pastors Dan Szombathy and Jeff Monroney officiating. Visitation will be from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. Saturday preceding the services. Memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Foundation.
