Shirley A. Liston

Shirley A. Liston, 73, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, September 3, 2011. She was born July 12, 1938 in Stoy, the daughter of Dale W. Miller and Geneva B. Ridlen Miller. She was a housekeeper and a member of the American Legion Auxiliary. She attended the Pilgrim Holiness Church.Shirley married Phillip Liston on December 3, 1983, and he survives. She is also survived by a daughter, Doreen Plunkett (Morrisville, NC); three grandsons, David L. Plunkett and wife Elise (South Euclid, OH), Daniel A. Plunkett (Canton, OH), and Jeremy M. Plunkett (Morrisville, NC). She is also survived by five step-children, Phyllis Fancil, Star Hoskins, Todd Liston, Melody Carter and David Liston; several step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren; as well as her sister-in-law, Viola Miller (Robinson). She was preceded in death by her parents; her three brothers, Albert Eugene Miller, Dale Duane Miller, and Harold Miller; two sisters, Marietta Watts and Jeanell Miller; one grandson, Christopher Adam Plunkett; and one step-daughter, Vickie Simpson.Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, September 7th at the Goodwine Funeral Home in Robinson. Burial will be in the Robinson New Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. until service time at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the Crawford County Relay for Life, with envelopes available at the funeral home.
