Shirley Doolittle

Shirley Ann Doolittle, 78, of Robinson, IL, died at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, October 9, 2017 peacefully at her home surrounded by her children. She was born on June 21, 1939 in Martinsville, IL, the daughter of Golden & Flo (Keith) Doolittle, whom preceded in death. She was also preceded in death by brother, Bud Doolittle; by her sisters, Lenora Pickering, Norma Sehr, Pauline Mitchell; and by her son, Franklin George Webb. She is survived by her children, Shelly Johnson, Rhea Becker, and Dean Heath; by her several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; as well as several nieces and nephews. Shirley was a longtime resident of Hammond, IN, and worked several years as both a taxi driver and dispatcher in the Chicagoland area. She was always known for her fiery personality and was loved by all. A private family graveside service will be held at a later date. The Goodwine Funeral Home in Robinson is in charge of arrangements.
