Shirley Jane Gray

Shirley Jane Gray, 87, of Palestine, IL, died at 7:03 a.m. (EST) Wednesday, March 20, 2013 at the St. Frances Hospital, Indianapolis, IN. She was born November 30, 1925 in Oak Park IL, the daughter of Murl A. Baldwin and Nellie Ruth Daley Baldwin. She was a homemaker and a member of the Bloomington, IL Pilgrim Holiness Church and attended the Palestine Pilgrim Holiness Church.Shirley married Eugene Gray and he survives. She is also survived by 4 sons and daughters-in-law, Rev. Paul D. and Nancy Gray, rural Palestine, Sylvan Eugene Gray, Fishers, IN, Murl Wesley and Andrea Gray, Shelbyville, IN, John Mark and Lana Gray, Annapolis; 9 grandchildren; and 9 great grandchildren.She was preceded in death by her parents; and two half-sisters, Wilma and Wanda.Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 23rd at 2:00 p.m. at the Palestine Pilgrim Holiness Church with Rev. Paul Gray officiating. Burial will be in the Oak Grove Cemetery, rural Palestine. Visitation will be held Saturday from 12:00 noon to service time at 2:00 p.m. at the church.Memorials may be made to Palestine Pilgrim Holiness Church €œMulti-Purpose Building Fund€.
