Sue Catt, 74, of Robinson, IL, died at 8:10 p.m. on Saturday, December 5, 2015 at the Magnolia Center in Robinson. She was born June 1, 1941 in rural Porterville, IL, the daughter of Walter C. Smith & Dixie H. Brown, both of whom preceded her in death. She is survived by her two children, Robin Catt (Robinson, IL) and Tina & Randy Mikeworth (Robinson, IL); her grandchildren, Kale Shelton and Carson Gaines; and one great-grandchild, Carter Gaines. Sue worked for the Ettelbrick Shoe Factory in Robinson before it closed. She went on to work for the Robinson American Legion Post #69 for nearly 25 years. She was a member of the Robinson American Legion Post #69 Auxiliary and the Robinson V.F.W. Post #4549 Auxiliary. Sue will long be remembered for her love of the Chicago Cubs, Dale Earnhardt, and of NASCAR racing in general. It was her wish to be cremated with a private family graveside service to follow at a later date. The Goodwine Funeral Home in Robinson is in charge of arrangements.
