Sybil J. Newlin

Sybil J. Newlin, 75 of West York, IL died at Union Hospital, Terre Haute, IN at 9:52 a.m. Saturday, July 21, 2012. She was born July 13, 1937 in Linton, IN, the daughter of Margaret LaForge Lynn and Samuel F. Lynn. She was a P. M. R. at the West York Post Office for 14 years. She was also a member of the West York Community Bible Church and played the piano at the church for a number of years.Sybil married Robert Newlin on June 11, 1956 and he survives. She is also survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Becky and David Staley, rural Martinsville; her son and daughter-in-law, Kevin and Kelli Newlin, West York; her mother, Margaret Lynn, Crawfordsville, IN; 5 grandchildren and their spouses, Mindi and Derek Sheets, Hutsonville, Justin Watson, Robinson, Neal and Ashley Newlin, West York, Abby Lawhead, Hutsonville, and Taylor Newlin, West York; 4 great grandchildren, Avery, Ali, Ayla, and Rilyn. 2 sisters and brothers-in-law also survive, Martha and Gene Zellers, Robinson and Janie and Larry Brush, Crawfordsville, IN; and several nieces and nephews.There will be a graveside service at the Bradbury Cemetery, rural West Union on Wednesday, July 25th at 10:00 a.m. Rev. Jerry Wilson will officiate. The Prust-Hosch Funeral Home in West Union is in charge of arrangements. The family requests that memorials be made to the Bradbury Cemetery, P. O.
