Terry Gene €œTC€ Collier, 75, of rural Robinson died at 2:19 a.m. on March 16, 2013 in the comfort of his residence. TC was born March 12, 1938 in York Township, Clark County, the son of Hubert H. Collier & Katherine Tharp Collier. After graduating from Hutsonville High School, he went on to serve his country in the U.S. Army. A farmer, TC (known also as €œZippy€ by his friends) also worked for Bell Telephone Company and retired from Marathon Oil. He served as Road Comissioner of LaMotte Township for 4 years, and was a member of the Flat Rock Masonic Lodge #348, the Palestine Eagles Lodge #3329, the Flat Rock American Legion Post #132 as well as the Oak Grove Church, where he was a past Moderator & Elder. He was known to be an avid woodworker and always had a catch phrase for everything, Pilgrim!TC is survived by his wife, Joan Collier (rural Robinson); his two sons & daughters-in-law, Eric & Laura Collier (Palestine), Brent & Becky Collier (Oblong); his daughter & son-in-law, Holly & Reed Marks (Greenwood, IN); his grandchildren, Erika Collier & her fianc Travis Guess, Nikolette & Dustin Staley, Jalyn Collier, Ian Marks, and Luke Marks; his brother & sister-in-law, Hubert & Maryln Collier; his brother-in-law & sister-in-law, Jack & Colleen Knoblett; his nieces and nephews, Krista Collier, Danny & Debbie Knoblett, Maria & David Pearman, Taylor Knoblett, and Shelby English; as well as his mother-in-law, Ella Mae Knoblett. He was preceded in death by his parents and his father-in-law, Oris Knoblett.Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, March 20th at the Goodwine Funeral Home in Palestine, with Scott Mendenhall officiating the service. Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery, rural Palestine. Visitation will be held from 5:00-7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 19th at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the Oak Grove Church or to Good Samaritan Hospice, with envelopes available at the funeral home.
