Thomas J. Ferguson

Thomas J. Ferguson, 17, of Evansville, IN, passed away Thursday, February 11, 2016, at his home. He was born November 11, 1998, in Vincennes, IN. He was very involved in JROTC where he played the bugle and taps and enjoyed military history. He loved to travel, especially to Disney World and the Washington, DC area. He enjoyed listening to classic rock (especially Led Zeppelin), playing video games, helping his grandfather and spending time with his cousin Katelynn. Thomas is preceded in death by paternal grandparents, Donna and Thomas Ferguson. He is survived by his mother, Tracey Ferguson; father and stepmother, Chad and Renee Ferguson; sister, Brooke Ferguson; maternal grandparents, Karen and Wayne Montgomery; aunt, Beth (Brent) Thacker; uncle, Brad Spurgeon; cousins, Alex (Emily) and Blake Spurgeon; uncle, Steve Allen; aunt, Stacey (Steve) Shew; cousins, Stevie and Mason; aunt, Jerri (Beau) Davis; cousins, Katelynn and Johnny, and many great aunts and uncles. A time of visitation will be held from 4:00-6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 16th at the Goodwine Funeral Home in Flat Rock. A Celebration of Life Service will follow and will be held at 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home with Celebrant Curt Goodwine officiating the service.
