Thomas Webster

Thomas Webster, 64, of Bicknell, IN, formerly of Palestine, IL, died at 11:47 p.m. (EST) on Wednesday, May 24, 2017 at the Good Samaritan Hospital in Vincennes, IN. He was born September 20, 1952 in Sullivan, IN, the son of Carl Webster and Barbara (Brown) Webster. He is survived by his mother, Barbara Webster (rural Robinson, IL); by his children, Sean Webster (Bicknell, IN) and Jesse Cochran (Bridgeport, IL); by his siblings, David & Tammy Webster (Salem, IL), Lisa & Todd Siverly (Vincennes, IN), and James & Rhonda Webster (Palestine, IL); by his aunt, Sue Inboden (Palestine, IL); as well as a host of nieces, nephews, and extended family members. He was preceded in death by his father, Carl Webster. Tom was a graduate of Palestine High School and went on to work a number of jobs over the years. When he wasn’t working, he enjoyed playing the guitar, and played with several country music groups throughout his life. A time of visitation will be held from 10:00-11:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 3rd at the Evangelical United Methodist Church in Oblong, IL. A memorial service will follow and will be held at 11:00 on Saturday with Pastors Jim Williams & Nolan Carter officiating. Memorials may be made to the Palestine Food Pantry, with envelopes available at the church. The Goodwine Funeral Home in Palestine is in charge of arrangements.
