Vicki Jo King

Vicki Jo King, 59, of Annapolis, IL died at 8:30 p.m. on Friday, April 18, 2014 in the comfort of her home. She was born November 15, 1954 in Terre Haute, IN, the daughter of Norman Walls & JoAnn Ashley. Vicki was baptized Methodist in Findlay, OH. She was an RN and worked for Union Hospital in Terre Haute, IN for a number of years. She married Roger King on August 28, 2000 and he survives. She is also survived by her mother, JoAnn Thompson; her step-mother, Ida Walls (FL); her children & their spouses, Kenneth Richard & Lynn Griffin (Palestine, IL), Lori & Shawn Elder (Palestine, IL), Joshua William & Lindsey Griffin (Robinson, IL), Samantha Jo Decker (Robinson, IL); her step-son, Bryan King (Terre Haute, IN); her grandchildren: Jarrett Crampton, Chase Crampton, Bryce Crampton, Blaze Elder, Brooklyn Elder, MaeCie Schlomer, Mason Griffin, Piper Griffin, Brynn Griffin, Kolton Decker, Corbin Decker, Wayne Griffin, Owen Griffin, and Sadie Griffin; her brothers & sisters-in-law, Richard & Rhonda Walls (TX), Kevin Lee & Peggy Walls (Robinson, IL), and Keenan Walls (FL); her sister, Kathy Xanders (Robinson, IL); her adopted sister, Irene Martin (TN); her step-brother & step-sister-in-law, Brad & Angela Thompson (Marshall, IL); as well as several nieces & nephews. She was preceded by her father, Norman Walls; her step-father, William Carroll Thompson; her brother, Jeffery Walls; and her father-in-law, Norman King. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, April 23rd at the Goodwine Funeral Home in Robinson with Pastor Tim Watson officiating the service. Burial will follow at the Robinson New Cemetery. A time of visitation will be held from 4:00-8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 22nd at the funeral home.
