Virginia Lee Goldman Mason

Virginia Lee Goldman Mason, of Hutsonville, IL, entered the Kingdom of God at 12:30 a.m. Sunday, January 22, 2012 at the Crawford Convalescent Center, Robinson, IL. She was born July 11, 1920 in English, IN, the daughter of Franklin Goldman and Susie Ethel Goldman. She married Arvis J. Mason April 29, 1951 and he preceded her in death on July 17, 1978. She was also preceded in death by her parents; two sons, James Marshall Mason and Arvis J. Mason, Jr.; two brothers William Goldman and Harry Goldman; a sister Lillian Bennett.She is survived by her two daughters and her son-in law, Rena Smith (Hutsonville), and Gina & Tony Brian (Hutsonville); her son, Benny Mason (Hutsonville); her grandchildren, Timothy P. Sollman, (Reelsville, IN); Derek Smith (Princeton, IN), Nicholas Smith (Estes Park, CO), Michael Smith (Robinson), Charles Smith (Hutsonville), Veronica Smith (Hutsonville), Goldie Smith (Princeton, IN), Peter Smith (Hutsonville), Holly Brian (Hutsonville), Noah Brian (Hutsonville), Gage Brian (Hutsonville), Lafe Mason (Vincennes, IN), Jack Brian (Hutsonville), and Sam Brian (Hutsonville); 16 great-grandchildren; her daughter-in-law, Debra Mason (Vincennes, IN); and several nieces and nephews.She was a homemaker and a member of the First United Methodist Church of Hutsonville; the Hutsonville Royal Neighbors; Hutsonville Woman€™s Club and the Princeton, Indiana VFW Auxiliary.Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Saturday, January 28th at the Goodwine Funeral Home in Robinson with Rev. David Hyde officiating. Burial will be in the Decker Cemetery in Patoka, IN at 3:00 p.m. following the service. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until service time at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
