Vivian L. Murphy, 86, of Robinson, IL died at 2:15 a.m. on Thursday, June 6, 2013 at Crawford Memorial Hospital in Robinson. She was born September 25, 1926 in Palestine, IL, the daughter of Florence Jordan. Vivian worked for Kincaid and Ellis Grain Elevator, Palestine and cleaned at Marathon. She loved Bingo and caring for others.Vivian is survived by her son, Michael Murphy, Palestine; her daughter, Karen Byrne of CA; her grandchildren, Susann Murphy, Brownsburg, IN, Adlai and Summer Stripling, Florida, and Jason Byrne; and her great grandchildren, Adyson Hines, and Landon and Skyler Stripling.She was preceded in death bvy her parents; and her daughter in infancy, Sharon.Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, June 11th at the Goodwine Funeral Home in Palestine. Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5:00-7:00 p.m. on Monday, June 10th at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the Oak Grove Cemetery, with envelopes available at the funeral home.
