Wayne Little

W. Wayne Little, 86, of Palestine, IL, died at 1:18 p.m. (E.S.T.) Wednesday, October 17, 2012. He was born June 11, 1926 in Palestine, IL, the son of William G. Little and Myrtle Shaw Little. He served in the U. S. Navy during WWII. He worked in marketing operations for Marathon for 37 years retiring in February 1983. He was a member since 1951 of the Indianapolis Masonic Lodge # 723 and the Robinson American Legion Post #69. Wayne is survived by his step-son, H. Pat Dunnigan, Livingston, TX; his brother, Leo E. Little, Las Vegas, NV; and his sister, Marjorie Maxwell, Post Falls, ID. He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother in infancy, Warren Little; and his step-daughter, Linda L. Bull.Masonic services will be conducted by the Palestine Masonic Lodge # 849, followed by a memorial service will be held 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, October 20th at the Goodwine Funeral Home, Palestine, IL with Pastor Paul Phillips officiating. Burial will be in the Pleasant View Cemetery, rural Palestine.
